Some Thoughts From Proverbs 9

Proverbs 9:7

⁷ Whoever corrects a scoffer gets himself abuse,
    and he who reproves a wicked man incurs injury.

The" scoffer' 'is:

1.       Settled in his character. Do not expect him to change.

2.      Has no respect for the truth. Do not believe him.

3.      He neither learns nor improves. He repeats his drivel and has no concern for corrections.

4.      When he is heard he has accomplished his purpose

5.      He is in love with his words, the more destructive they are the more he loves them.
